The Kerr Village Farmers Market offers an array of organic produce, as well as conventionally raised items from growers within a 100-mile radius. Local production translates into a shorter travel distance, and less transit time has a direct impact on freshness, appearance, taste and nutritive values. Located in “scenic” Halton Hills, Andrew’s Scenic Acres grows a mouth-watering assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables, from asparagus, strawberries and raspberries in June to blueberries, apples and super sweet corn in the latter part of the summer. They also offer scrumptious jams, jellies, pies and tarts.  Wonderful honey, maple syrup, juices and frozen fruit are also available. Black Walnut Lane (BWL) is a family owned and operated agricultural enterprise that raises and produces quality fresh Ontario lamb and beef for families, stores and restaurants. Located in the Village of Millgrove, their farm is an original Ontario Homestead—first established in the early 1800′s.  They support the Canadian Sheep and Cattle Industry by also providing educational information and farm learning visits.

Nestled in Freelton, Ontario, Butwick Farms features fresh seasonal produce including strawberries, beets and romaine letter, as well as delicious baked goods like pies and dumplings.  Jams, jellies, preserves, and vinegars and oils, all made at their farm market bakery, are also available. Butwick Farms is only open during the strawberry season.
